To the ones who enjoy it, fishing seems to be the best activity. It is serene as well as calm. And, when you put your hands on a big catch, the excitement you will feel is amazing! When you go fishing, you need to be well resourced with all the Canoe accessories you will need so that you do not panic. Similarly, when you are Kayak rigging, you should keep everything that you might need. Yet, since some fish only bite at night, you need to ensure that you have your most valuable piece of equipment: fishing lights.

You might ask why fishing lights are essential. Besides giving you sufficient light to picture things around, what is their function? The reality is that these lights are far more necessary than just being used for illumination. They are essential because most fish are inclined towards light. Therefore, it becomes easy to catch them. Just like insects may become inclined to your night bulb, fish is also inclined towards the sparkly appearance of light. And similarly when small fish come near, they bring along bigger fish, which are swimming behind them, nearer to the fisherman.

Using two lights is better than using one light. This will help you if one of the lights malfunctions, as you will at least have a backup. If you are using both of them at a time, keep them 3’ to 4’ part which will enlarge the radius of light, and thus bring in more fish towards the light. From the aforementioned lines, you can assume that the key is to bring in the bait-fish because other fish will come behind. To draw bait-fish, the greatest idea is to use two lights at a time. One light should be white and the other can be either blue or green.

You can even make your own fishing light. It is not a tiring task. First you require a plastic container. Next, make a hole in the handle; ensure that you do not make this hole inside the body of the container. Now,join the fishing line to the box via this hole. If you are left with some more wire, tie it around something else that is lying around. Ensure that this is reachable because you might need this when you are lowering the light downwards. This kind of light will work best for 30 feet of fishing line. You should use a small light so that it is easy for you to lift it after you lower it down.

Now that you are done making the container, you should test it. Ensure that you close it firmly and then lower it down the water. If there are any bubbles, it means that you have not closed it firmly enough. Add a few pebbles to make the container heavy. Keep a light in a bag and put it in the box; it is advisable to use LEDs for this reason. Finally, close the lid and lower it down the water. Fishing will turn out to be your best activity if you like to unwind and to take all the required accessories and nothing can be more relaxing than this pastime!
